COMING SOON: OUR NEW ADOPTION CENTER

Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) is thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new adoption center in 2025! Located at 2310 West Cary Street in Richmond, Virginia, just east of the vibrant Carytown shopping and dining district, this facility will transform shelter operations and improve the lives of animals in need.

For a limited time, donors have the unique opportunity to sponsor custom-designed kennels in the new center. These state-of-the-art Cat Condominiums and Dog Apartments will provide adoptable animals with more comfortable and spacious accommodations, reducing the stress of smaller kennels currently used at the Chamberlayne Avenue location. The option to place your business, personal, or honorary/memorial name on a plaque affixed to a designated cage/kennel in the new adoption space is one we hope you will take advantage of!
